This one-day, mostly practical training course is designed for electricians with little or no experience working with electric motors who want to develop hands-on skills, build confidence, and support their career progression.
The course focuses on the fundamentals of electric motors, with a strong emphasis on practical learning rather than classroom theory. Training is delivered in small groups of around 6 learners, ensuring plenty of individual attention and genuine hands-on experience throughout the day.
During the course, you’ll learn how to safely work with and identify various motor types, with a heavy focus on 3-phase electric motors. We’ll cover common wiring configurations, testing procedures, fault finding, and practical techniques that can be applied in real working environments.
